In dermatological practice, “hair problems” occupy a significant place, so much that at the beginning of the 20th century, a new sub-discipline of dermatology emerged \u2013 trichology, which studies hair and diseases of the scalp. Hair is an appendage of the skin and is subject to the same chronobiological laws as the skin itself and the entire body.<\/p>\n

Trichology<\/strong> \u2013 “Problems related to hair” include hair damage, structural disturbances, and hair loss.<\/p>\n

Hair serves as the natural covering of human skin. Modern people express their inner mood and character through their hair. Hair is associated with human values such as individuality, strength, and independence. For women, hair is a crucial symbol of beauty. Healthy and well-groomed hair is a modern person’s calling card.<\/p>\n

Hair damage, structural disturbances, and hair loss are constant sources of anxiety and psychological trauma for both women and men. Hair loss or the fear of losing hair has a negative impact on a person’s psycho-emotional state, which in turn affects their quality of life.<\/p>\n

Well-groomed and healthy hair reflects the condition of our body. It is one of the indicators of human health. Hair is influenced by various aggressive factors from the external environment as well as the chemical and biological processes occurring within the body.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      In recent years, the diagnosis of hair diseases has made significant progress. In addition to a targeted medical history and a thorough examination of the scalp and skin, the basic diagnostic test is the trichogram \u2013 a microscopic examination of the hair bulb’s status. Another important analysis is the examination of hair for microelements (concentration of microelements in the hair).
